- Infrastructure Challenges: Aging logistics infrastructure, including port and rail limitations, constrained storage capacity, and the need for continued investment to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with Group standards.

Activities
Governance, Ethics & Compliance
- Act at all times in the best interests of TotalEnergies, in full compliance with Group policies, Affiliate procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate exemplary personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and to the values, principles, and standards set out in the Company Code of Conduct and Charters.
- Ensure that TotalEnergies’ policies, procedures, and practices are fully respected across all activities, and that employees are appropriately informed, trained, and compliant.
- Represent the TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia within the country to ministries, regulatory authorities, administrations, clients banks, suppliers, embassies, and other key stakeholders.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)
- Provide visible leadership on HSE matters, fostering a strong safety culture across the Affiliate.
- Chair the Affiliate HSE Committee and ensure effective governance and follow-up of HSE action plans.
- Lead the Affiliate Crisis Management Team and actively participate in the Emergency Response Team.
- Conduct regular safety tours and inspections at offices, depots, and service stations to identify, prevent, and mitigate hazard and HSE risks.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of One Maestro, HSE management systems, and Group standards.
- Define annual HSE objectives, ensure staff awareness, and monitor performance against set targets.
- Actively participate in Company safety awareness programs and initiatives.
Strategy, Business Development & Performance
- Define, establish, and implement the business and investment strategy of TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia in line with Group strategy.
- Drive subsidiary ambitions and ensure delivery of approved budget targets and strategic objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and materialize new business and growth opportunities.
- Analyze the evolution of commercial, logistical, financial, and operational indicators, and implement corrective measure where required.
Leadership & People Management
- Provide strong leadership to the employee base, fostering performance, accountability, and engagement.
- Oversee the performance management and job appraisal processes.
- Promote talent development, coaching, and succession planning within the organization.
Financial Management & Internal Control
- Ensure overall management and supervision of internal control frameworks governing business transactions and company activities.
- Approve investments in accordance with the Delegation of Authority and Group governance rules.Ensure effective risk management and financial discipline across all operations.
Stakeholder & Commercial Relations
- Maintain effective interfaces with General Trade (GT) customers, dealers, and resellers.
- Protect and enhance the reputation of TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia through professional, ethical, and constructive stakeholder engagement.
- Provide guidance and leadership on sustainable development initiatives in line with Group commitments and local priorities.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field; postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years’ senior management experience, preferably in the energy, petroleum, or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of the downstream petroleum sector, including regulations, pricing mechanisms, supply chains, and products.
- Solid expertise in financial management, budgeting, internal controls, and statutory reporting.
- Experience with Group international financial systems and reporting, with working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
