Description & Requirements
Baker McKenzie seeks a Practice Group Coordinator in Dallas, Texas. The candidate's core responsibilities will include:
1. Revenue Cycle Management
- Coordinating end-to-end billing processes
- Prebill review tracking
- Time entry compliance
- Invoice readiness and submission
- Act as liaison between attorneys and local client revenue teams, as well as Manila center-based team focused on specific IP Tech clients with large patent and trademark portfolios
- Drive proactive follow-up on outstanding receivables
2. Expense & Overtime Oversight
- Review and coordinate approval of practice group expenses
- Track and monitor overtime usage across support teams
- Identify trends and recommend cost controls
3. Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide direct support to Practice Group Chair, including calendar coordination and strategic priorities tracking
- Coordinate local practice group meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas, materials, follow-ups and action tracking
4. Workflow & Communication Coordination
- Streamline administrative workflows across the practice
- Ensure consistent and transparent communication channels
- Improve alignment between Attorneys, Business Professionals, Finance and Operation teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
