Credit Structuring Officer (M/F/X)

Mission
As a Credit Structuring Officer you will support the Luxembourg-based Credit Structuring Team reporting to the Senior Credit Structuring Manager. The team provides support to the front-office to face any client request related to credits by setting up the best solution according to the Bank internal procedures and risk appetite.
Main Duties
Structure tailor-made financing solutions for private banking clients, including Lombard loans, mortgage loans, insurance-backed lending and other secured financing solutions, in compliance with the Bank’s internal policies and procedures, applicable regulations and relevant legal requirements.
Advise Relationship Managers on optimal financing structures, pricing, collateral packages and credit terms.
Perform comprehensive credit analysis, including the assessment of repayment capacity, collateral quality, legal structure, concentration risks and the overall client risk profile.
Prepare, review and present credit applications to the relevant approval authorities (Local Credit Committee, Group Credit Committee, Board Credit Committee, etc.).
Draft, review and negotiate credit documentation, including term sheets, loan agreements, amendments, security documentation and side letters.
Coordinate complex financing transactions with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Credit Administration, Operations, Finance, Tax) and external advisers (law firms, notaries, valuers, insurance companies and other service providers).
Conduct periodic reviews of existing credit facilities, reassess clients’ creditworthiness, collateral adequacy and covenant compliance, and prepare recommendations for the relevant approval authorities where required.
Identify and escalate emerging credit risks, recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures and contribute to maintaining a sound and consistent credit risk framework.
Participate in the development, review and continuous improvement of lending standards, templates and internal procedures.
Technical Skills
University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
Minimum five years of experience in credit risk or private banking lending.
Good knowledge of lending products, particularly Lombard and mortgage financing.
Solid understanding of credit risk assessment, financial analysis and collateral valuation.
Good knowledge of legal documentation relating to financing and security interests.

Languages
Fluent English and French (written and spoken).
Additional languages are considered an asset.
