About the Xtrackers Marketing Team:
The Xtrackers Marketing Team is responsible for positioning the global brand “Xtrackers by DWS” as one of the world’s leading ETF providers. To increase brand awareness, customer loyalty, and support Xtrackers’ business objectives, the team develops innovative concepts and content, utilizing the full spectrum of available channels. In doing so, we work closely with DWS’s other marketing and communications functions to define the messages, relevant channels, and formats for the respective target groups.
Your responsibilities:
For the Xtrackers marketing team, we are seeking a Marketing Manager Public Distribution – EMEA South based in Milan or Frankfurt to support the team in marketing and distributing ETF and ETC products to a broad audience via publicly accessible channels.
The role involves managing digital channels and their Xtrackers-focused marketing activities in the region, strategic Xtrackers marketing planning for the region, and collaboration with a strong central marketing team as well as external partners such as agencies and media outlets. In addition, the position requires close collaboration with our sales and product teams to optimize go-to-market timing and thereby contribute specifically to overall sales and marketing goals. Highly proficient in spoken and written in spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory, as is a willingness to travel.
As Senior Marketing Manager Public Distribution, you will also be responsible for measuring the performance of activities using data-driven insights and adjusting them accordingly.
As our Marketing Manager Public Distribution, VP, you will:
Responsible for implementing regional marketing strategies with the goal of effectively positioning Xtrackers in the market and attracting new investors. This includes the linguistic and cultural adaptation and implementation of existing campaigns, as well as their tracking and performance optimization.
Managing regional digital distribution channels. This includes developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies to successfully position our products against the competition, conducting client update meetings, and creating new sales-supporting marketing initiatives.
Acquiring new digital educational financial content platforms, including contract negotiations, coordinating activities and content, and implementing campaigns.
Analyzing campaign reports and AUM development on regional digital channels.
Monitoring regional competitors’ activities on digital channels.
Management of regional Xtrackers.com websites. This includes creating new content, regularly updating existing pages, and conducting compliance and data protection evaluations.
Analysis of created content using analytics tools and implementation of findings
Support with ad-hoc content creation.
Close collaboration with colleagues from Product, Sales, Research, Compliance, Marketing, and external service providers
Regulatory coordination of content with the respective country-specific compliance department.
We are looking for:
To apply, you should possess the following core competencies:
At least 5 years of experience in financial marketing at an asset manager or in the marketing department of a digital distribution platform.
In-depth knowledge of indexing, ETF products, and passive investing, as well as a general understanding of EMEA and global markets.
Deep understanding of the asset management industry across all asset classes and channels.
Expertise in writing compelling financial content tailored to different target audiences, writing styles, and regional regulatory requirements.
Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies in the ETF/ETC sector.
In-depth knowledge of the various ETF and ETC distribution channels and target audiences.
Financial expertise in asset management; experience with creative agencies and knowledge of workflows and processes is a plus
Understanding of the needs of different target audiences in B2B, B2C, and B2B2C contexts.
Strong digital affinity.
Strong innovative drive
Understanding of data analysis.
Open-minded, customer-oriented personality who communicates effectively at all levels and across cultural boundaries.
High degree of personal responsibility and reliability.
Languages: Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English; German is a plus. Additional languages are a plus.
