Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to design and document accounting workflows for new products in a new policy administrative system
- Participate in UAT to validate system functionalities and ensure alignment with business needs
- Support the transition to new systems by providing manual accounting and reconciliation prior to and during the launch
- Assist in documentation of process, controls and procedures related to new product accounting flows
- Support team transformation efforts by identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement using automation platforms
- Support ad-hoc accounting tasks and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 years of accounting or business analysis experience, preferably in insurance or financial industry, candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Accounting Officer
- Experience with project participation, UAT and process documentation
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and product workflows
- Effective communication ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and external parties
- Proficiency in MS Office, and experience with automation software such as Alteryx, Python etc will be a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly, Independent, self-motivated
