Consulting- TT-ERI-Sr. Consultant – Software Expert
Summary
As a Senior Consultant serving the "Power and Utilities" industry, you would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on software design frameworks, dashboard development and other IT interventions.. A preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, with more than five years of experience. The candidate is expected to have fluent communications skills in English and Hindi, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Location: Base office location will be Gurgaon, while key location will be client premise in Shimla
The Team
As a member of the Power and Utilities team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals. The team provides a range of advisory and assurance services to clients in the private and public sector on a broad range of aspects relating to renewable energy, climate change, and sustainability.
The focus of the team is on strategic analyses of key concerns in renewable energy and sustainability – including strategy development, implementation, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, governance systems, sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement, reporting and assurance.
Work you’ll do
You will be working on solving full spectrum of power, utilities and energy sector challenges across a wide range of clients. You will not just be working on ideas and recommendations to solve the client’s challenges, in most cases you would also be walking with the client in implementing those recommendations and in advising them during the same. Continuous learning at a team level and at an individual level will be your responsibility and ensuring that you have lots of fun while doing all this is our responsibility.
Your Prime Responsibilities
You would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on energy transition and related aspects. You would be expected to work on high quality research reports, analysis and studies relating to renewable energy, cross border electricity trade and electricity transmission.
A few role-based responsibilities for the position are described below:
- Working both collaboratively and individually as a part of project teams to address complex market, strategic, operational, and organizational issues energy sector
- Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverable requirements
- Undertake research, stakeholder engagement analysis and packaging of client deliverables.
- Gather information via primary client interviews and workshops, as well as secondary research to understand the software and dashboard requirements.
- Develop the initial design framework, wireframes, business requirement documentation
- Develop and test the required software and dashboards
- Deploy the developed products
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- More than five years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in energy sector projects
- Strong data analytics and visualization skills, comfortable working with large datasets, both in Excel and beyond
- Fluent communications skills in English and Hindi
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
