IT Team Leader - Global Banking

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Team Leader, you will lead, develop, and support a high-performing international team within our global corporate credit platform. Your focus is not on daily operational tasks, but on people management: fostering talent, driving engagement, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our offshore teams and our onshore counterparts in Paris.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- People Leadership: Build a psychologically safe, collaborative environment. Identify skill gaps and design upskilling plans to champion continuous learning and AI adoption.
- Performance Management: Monitor performance via KPIs, provide timely coaching/recognition, and manage career development through regular 1-to-1s.
- Resource Coordination: Partner with Domain Heads to optimize resource allocation, manage capacity (vacations/absences), and oversee seamless onboarding/offboarding.
- Cross-Border Liaison: Act as the vital bridge between offshore teams and Paris leadership, managing stakeholder relationships and flagging people-related risks promptly.
- Engagement & Governance: Drive team wellbeing and engagement initiatives while maintaining regular synchronization with Domain Delegates to align on strategic goals.
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in people management, performance coaching, and talent development.
- Communication Expert: Strong ability to influence across regions and translate feedback into actionable HR plans.
- Strategic Coordinator: Familiarity with capacity planning and project management concepts; able to act as a bridge across borders.
- Languages: Fluent English and Polish are mandatory
