What you'll be doing
• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications, APIs and microservices• Build scalable and reliable backend services using Java and Python technologies• Develop modern user interfaces using React and related front-end technologies• Collaborate with Solution Analysts, Architects and business stakeholders to deliver business solutions• Participate in solution design, code reviews and technical decision-making• Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance and integration issues• Use Git-based development workflows and contribute to automated build, testing and deployment processes• Support integration with internal and external systems through APIs and event-driven architectures• Drive continuous improvement of applications, processes and development practices• Utilize AI-powered development tools to increase productivity, code quality and engineering efficiencyWhat you'll need to succeed
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development• Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot framework• Experience with Python would be considered an advantage• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices• Experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive web development principles• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server or similar) and persistence frameworks (JPA/Hibernate)• Good understanding of software design principles, design patterns and clean coding practices• Experience with Git-based development workflows and collaborative software development• Experience working within Agile development environments• Experience with Ant Design (AntD), Material UI or similar frontend component libraries would be considered an advantage• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated software delivery practices would be considered an advantage• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar) would be considered an advantage• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar) would be considered an advantage• Previous experience in banking, financial services or fintech domain would be considered an advantage• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Good communication skills in EnglishWhat you'll get in return
