As a Director within Deloitte Digital's Experience & Marketing Transformation team, you will be a market-making leader — shaping our cross-industry go-to-market strategy, originating significant client opportunities, and building the relationships and reputation that position Deloitte as the undisputed partner of choice for marketing and sales transformation across the UK and beyond. 

This is a role for a proven transformation leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercial growth. You will bring an extensive track record in marketing and commercial transformation, a strong network of C-suite relationships, and the commercial acumen to identify, shape, and win complex engagements with some of the world's most ambitious organisations. Working across industries — from Financial Services and Life Sciences to Retail, Consumer, and TMT — you will leverage transferable transformation expertise and Deloitte's breadth of capability to deliver exceptional client outcomes and drive material practice growth.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Define and drive Deloitte Digital's go-to-market strategy for Marketing & Commercial Transformation across industries, identifying emerging market trends, client priorities, and whitespace opportunities that position our offering for sustained growth. 

• Originate, shape, and close significant transformation opportunities across the UK and internationally, leading proposal development, commercial structuring, and executive-level negotiations with CMO, CDO, CGO, CRO, and CEO stakeholders. 

• Build and deepen trusted, strategic relationships with senior marketing and commercial leaders across a portfolio of industries, positioning Deloitte as the go-to partner for organisations embarking on complex marketing and sales transformation journeys. 

• Oversee the delivery of complex, multi-workstream marketing and sales transformation programmes — spanning marketing strategy, MarTech architecture, data-driven marketing, digital commerce, and operating model redesign — ensuring commercial performance, client satisfaction, and delivery quality. 

• Champion thought leadership and external eminence, publishing perspectives, speaking at industry events, and driving Deloitte Digital's reputation in the marketing and sales transformation market. 

• Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Senior Managers, Managers, and Consultants, creating clear career development pathways, fostering an inclusive and ambitious culture, and cultivating the next generation of transformation leaders. 

• Collaborate across Deloitte's service lines — Technology, Strategy, Human Capital, and industry practices — to craft integrated, cross-functional propositions that deliver superior client outcomes at scale. 

Connect to your skills and professional experience 

To excel in this role, you will bring a broad and proven track record across marketing and sales transformation, with the commercial leadership, relationship depth, and intellectual authority to shape our offering and drive sustained growth. 

You will bring: 

• A proven track record in marketing and sales transformation, with experience spanning client-side senior leadership or management consulting at Director level or above, and a clear ability to deliver large-scale, complex transformation programmes. 

• Established success originating, shaping, and closing significant consulting engagements or transformation programmes, with a history of commercial achievement and the ability to manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships. 

• Deep expertise in the marketing and sales transformation landscape, including proficiency across marketing strategy, digital marketing, customer data and analytics, marketing technology ecosystems (CRM, CDP, marketing automation, personalisation), and sales effectiveness. 

• Broad experience working across multiple industries, with the ability to apply transferable marketing and sales transformation frameworks across diverse client contexts including Financial Services, Life Sciences, Consumer, Retail, and TMT. 

• A proven ability to cultivate and sustain C-suite relationships (CMO, CDO, CRO, CEO), acting as a trusted strategic advisor and long-term partner rather than a transactional engagement lead. 

• A clear track record of building and leading high-performing teams, developing talent, creating inclusive cultures, and enabling career progression for high-potential individuals. 

• An established profile in the marketing and sales transformation community, with evidence of thought leadership, industry engagement, and professional reputation that opens doors and differentiates Deloitte in competitive pursuits (desirable). 

• Familiarity with major marketing technology ecosystems including Salesforce, Adobe, Google, and emerging AI-driven platforms, with sufficient technical fluency to credibly engage in platform strategy discussions (desirable). 

• Experience managing commercial performance, including revenue targets, margin, and practice investment decisions (desirable). 

• Confidence using AI tools and LLMs in day-to-day work — whether to sharpen client deliverables, accelerate research, or drive practice innovation.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to several audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
