Job Description

About AXA:

AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers.

Job overview:

We’re making some big changes to Internal Communications at AXA UK&I. We’re rethinking how we work, where we focus and the impact we can have. As an Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our new team helping to shape and deliver what colleagues see, hear and experience and finding bolder, more daring ways to bring our story to life.

You’ll help shape our editorial plan and turn business priorities into compelling, joined-up communications, leading some of our biggest colleague campaigns, communication projects and events. Working closely with our Strategic Business Partners and other comms specialists within the team, you’ll help colleagues make sense of AXA’s ambitions by bringing together stories, content, and channels into a more coordinated and impactful colleague experience.

You’ll also lead key channel development projects and continually look for ways to improve how we reach and engage colleagues. Reporting to the Head of Content and Channels, you’ll lead day-to-day delivery across a busy, fast-moving environment across multiple audiences, formats and stakeholders, keeping priorities clear, activity coordinated, and everything moving to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities:

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. You’ll frequently spend time in our London office and be comfortable with travelling to other AXA offices.

Your skills & experience:

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
