Your work profile:
- Looking for Consultant with strong expertise in test facility management applications within the automotive industry.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tools such as AVL TFMS and a solid understanding of test bench, test facility management.
- This role requires the ability to evaluate IT solutions, conduct competitor analysis, and guide strategic decisions on buy vs. build approaches.
- The consultant must also be capable of working quickly and effectively during short discovery phases, delivering actionable insights under tight timelines.
Key skills required:
Domain Expertise
- Provide subject matter expertise on test facility management systems (e.g., AVL TFMS) and related automotive applications.
- Understand and appreciate test bench preparation workflows to ensure IT solutions align with operational needs.
Rapid Discovery & Analysis
- Conduct fast-paced discovery sessions to capture requirements and constraints.
- Deliver quick assessments and recommendations without compromising quality.
IT Strategy & Advisory
- Translate business needs into IT application requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Drive technology adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Perform benchmarking of test facility management applications and emerging technologies.
- Prepare concise reports highlighting gaps and opportunities.
Decision Making
- Lead buys vs. build evaluations for IT applications considering cost, scalability, and long-term value.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and procurement teams for seamless solution integration.
- Act as a trusted advisor for process improvement and digital transformation.
Qualifications:
- B. E. / B. Tech / MCA / M.E / M. Tech / MSc in Computer Science.
