As a Technology Business Operational Risk Manager, you will act as a trusted risk partner to senior leaders across Macquarie’s technology teams, providing practical advice and constructive challenge to support informed decision-making and strategic change. You will help assess and manage operational risks across technology platforms, services and transformation programmes, while supporting the design and delivery of resilient, well-controlled and secure technology solutions. Working across a broad range of technology areas, you will influence how technology capabilities are governed, operated and continuously improved, helping to strengthen risk management and operational resilience across the organisation.What you offer
- 7+ years’ experience in technology risk management, technology audit, cybersecurity, technology operations, engineering or a related discipline, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Experience in one or more technology domains such as application security, cloud technologies, infrastructure, technology transformation or large-scale technology delivery, with knowledge of secure software development practices highly regarded.
- Strong ability to assess operational risk, evaluate control effectiveness, identify emerging risks and develop practical, sustainable solutions to improve outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders, facilitate discussions and translate complex technical concepts into clear business risks and actions.
- A collaborative and curious mindset, supported by relevant qualifications in technology, engineering, cybersecurity, information systems or risk management, with industry certifications viewed favourably.
