Job Description

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Embark on a transformative journey as a Full Stack Developer– VP in Securitized Products, where you'll lead end-to-end development of mission-critical financing platforms, blending deep technical expertise with financial acumen to build scalable solutions that redefine how we structure, price, and trade mortgages. while shaping the technical vision for next-generation securitization systems.

To be successful in this role you should possess:

• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot. Strong understanding of Spring Framework (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring AI).

• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure, including containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

• Graduate Degree, with Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Angular v 17 or higher.

• Versatile technologist capablities of making strategic technical decisions and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions across the full development lifecycle.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Candidates with experience in Banking / Finance domain preferred

• Having experience managing a team is considered an advantage.

• Database proficiency is essential in both SQL systems such as Oracle and MySQL, and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
