Role Overview
We are building a next-generation product engineering organization where we are looking for Business Analysts who will transform business problems, customer needs, and market opportunities into well-defined product capabilities that engineering teams can build with confidence.
The Business Analyst will combine strong business analysis skills, product thinking, domain modelling, systems thinking, and AI-assisted analysis to discover requirements, define product behavior, and enable rapid product delivery.
This role focuses on understanding customer journeys, analyzing complex business domains, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, modelling business processes, and collaborating across product, engineering, architecture, and AI teams. We are looking for analysts who can effectively use AI as a force multiplier to accelerate research, documentation, requirement analysis, and product discovery while ensuring business accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery:
o Work closely with Product Managers, customers, domain experts, and engineering teams to discover business problems and identify product opportunities.
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative discovery sessions.
- Translate customer needs into clearly defined product capabilities and solution requirements.
Business Analysis:
o Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements for product capabilities.
- Document business rules, workflows, decision logic, user journeys, and system interactions.
- Maintain complete traceability from business objectives through implementation.
Domain Modelling & Product Design:
o Develop and maintain business domain models that accurately represent customer processes, products, entities, relationships, and business events.
o Bring the perspective of FS centric regulatory requirements, financial security context to product design.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure domain models align with system architecture and product design.
- Continuously refine domain models as product capabilities evolve.
Requirements Engineering:
o Prepare high-quality: User Stories, Epics, Features, Acceptance Criteria, Business Rules, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, Decision Models
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable, implementable, and aligned with business objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Clarify business requirements during development and testing.
- Support product validation and customer acceptance activities.
AI-Augmented Business Analysis:
o Use AI-powered tools to accelerate market research, business analysis, requirement documentation, user story creation, process modelling, and product documentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for business correctness, completeness, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Apply AI responsibly while maintaining domain expertise and analytical rigor.
Product Validation:
o Participate in product demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and solution validation.
- Verify implemented functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Work with QA teams to ensure comprehensive business test coverage.
- Gather customer feedback and continuously improve product capabilities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Business Analysis within software product development environments.
- Financial Services Domain Knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of creating business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.
- Experience with business process modelling and workflow analysis.
- Familiarity with modern product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve business analysis, documentation, and research productivity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Within the first year, you will:
- Successfully translate complex customer problems into clear, implementable product requirements.
- Develop reusable business domain models that improve product quality and engineering efficiency.
- Improve requirement quality, reducing ambiguity and downstream rework.
- Enable engineering teams to deliver features faster through well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Be the custodian for the product backlog in the respective product area.
- Help establish AI-assisted business analysis practices that improve productivity while maintaining business accuracy.
- Contribute to building customer-centric, scalable, and high-quality software products that solve real business problems.
Level of Experience Required: 5 to 10 years

- Location- Bangalore
- Working from the office at least 3 days a week is mandatory, with a hybrid model tailored to each domain’s specific needs
