Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a data-driven Sales Operations Analyst to support our Quota Planning team. This role is designed for a professional who understands the core mechanics of sales operations but leverages a modern technical toolkit - including Python, SQL, and AI-to drive accuracy and automation.
The successful candidate will not only manage core sales processes - such as quota planning and commission analysis - but will also act as a technical driver, leveraging AI/GenAI tools and automation to optimize business processes and deliver high-level analytical insights.
Core Responsibilities:
- Quota Planning Support: Assist in driving end-to-end quota planning processes, including allocation, validation, and attainment analysis.
- Commission & Incentive Analysis: Analyze commission performance, monitor payout trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales incentives.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize quota strategies and overall sales performance.
- AI-Driven Automation: Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., AI Agents, Conversational AI, Claude Code, Azure OpenAI) and Python to automate manual workflows, enhance predictive analytics, and streamline business processes.
- Advanced Data Analytics: Build and maintain sophisticated reporting ecosystems using SQL and Power BI to provide real-time visibility into sales metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Domain Expertise: Understanding of the sales lifecycle, specifically regarding quota setting and commission structures.
- Technical Proficiency:

- Python & SQL: Advanced proficiency in using Python for data automation and SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.
- BI Tools: Expert-level ability to build impactful dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.
- Generative AI: Practical experience leveraging AI/GenAI tools (such as AI agents, Codex, Claude Code, or Azure OpenAI) to enhance analytics and operational efficiency.AI Capability: Ability to leverage AI tools and LLMs to enhance productivity and improve data analysis processes.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong expertise in quota planning, sales performance analytics, and commission modeling.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, clear communication, and strong stakeholder management skills to interface with leadership and sales teams.
- Immediate Impact: As we are working on tight project timelines, we need someone who can step in and apply their technical skills to our data workflows from day one with minimal training.
Preferred Experience (Good to Have):
- Experience specifically working within a Quota Planning or Sales Compensation team.
- Advanced Excel skills for complex data modeling.
- Proven track record of using automation to solve operational bottlenecks.
