Financial Markets Research & Content Specialist

Are you interested in turning financial market research into content that helps clients and stakeholders understand change? The Marketing Content team develops research-led publications and marketing assets that connect market developments, regulation, technology and client needs across SIX.
In this role, you will combine financial industry research with editorial and content capabilities. You will identify relevant topics, analyze evidence and transform complex findings into clear reports, thought leadership and reusable marketing content. Working with experts across the business, you will help strengthen SIX's position in financial market infrastructure, data and services through accurate, audience-focused narratives.

What You Will Do
- Identify research and content opportunities by monitoring financial markets, client needs, regulatory developments, technology trends and SIX’s strategic priorities.
- Conduct independent research using internal expertise, public sources, industry studies and relevant datasets, and assess the implications for financial market participants and SIX’s businesses.
- Transform research findings and complex financial, regulatory and technical topics into clear, evidence-based reports, thought leadership and marketing content adapted to different audiences and channels.
- Interview subject matter experts and collaborate with product, business, data and regulatory specialists to develop viewpoints, validate findings and ensure business relevance.
- Manage publications from initial concept to delivery, coordinating editorial proposals, drafting, stakeholder reviews, quality control and reuse across campaigns and client-facing communications.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support research and content production while maintaining accuracy, consistency, quality and compliance.
What You Bring
- A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, financial markets, business administration or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in financial market research, financial content, thought leadership, financial journalism, consulting, or financial services, with examples of analytical publications or market studies.
- Sound knowledge of capital markets and financial market infrastructure, with expertise in several areas such as exchange ecosystems, market data, post-trade, payments, banking infrastructure, market structure or European financial regulation.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, including the ability to assess sources, interpret financial data, connect findings to client and business relevance, and work with data platforms.
- Clear writing, editing and storytelling skills, combined with stakeholder and project management capabilities and the ability to turn specialist input into accessible, accurate and audience-focused content.
- High level in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
