Title and Summary
Lead Project ManagerOverview:The Global Business Services Center (GBSC) Strategy, Enablement & Transformation team is built upon strong contributors with leadership abilities, consulting mindsets and strong project management skills. The group acts as an internal consultant supporting the GBSC organization and key Mastercard stakeholders.
The primary responsibility will be supporting the successful identification, planning and execution of projects supporting Finance and Regulatory initiatives. This position requires a highly collaborative individual with strong process and project management skills who will need to coordinate global relationships across multiple functional areas and regional constituencies.
Role:
• Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones
• Collaborating with project leader and legal team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings under the scope of the project
• Provide insights to enhance processes and tooling, support implementation best practices and process improvements derived from identifying areas of weakness and strategizing improvements
• Develop, run and distribute status and progress reports to update leadership and project team members
• Take responsibility for the data integrity, organization, and maintenance of core content for project status and deliverables
• Identify and escalate potential risks, delays, or conflicts, and adjust workflow to meet demand and team capacity
• Regularly communicates to senior management regarding the status of specific project deliverables
• Perform analysis and assessment activities to provide stakeholders with timely updates
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to communicate key metrics and trends
All About You:
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise transformation programs across ERP, Order Management, Revenue Management, Billing, and Order-to-Cash business functions.
• Proven success delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives involving process redesign, systems integration, operating model changes, and organizational adoption.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries, including financial services, payments, banking, or other compliance-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, risk, and governance considerations and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into business and technology delivery plans.
• Consulting experience strongly preferred, including strategy development, current-state assessments, process improvement, operating model design, business case development, and executive stakeholder management.
• Experience partnering with senior executives to define strategic objectives, establish roadmaps, align stakeholders, and drive execution across complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of project management disciplines, enterprise governance frameworks, and delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams involving business, operations, technology, legal, compliance, finance, and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across global organizations.
• Proven track record delivering complex transformation programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Experience within financial services, payments, fintech, or related transaction-processing industries.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, Order Management, Revenue Management, Billing, Contract Lifecycle Management, and workflow automation platforms.
• Experience leading regulatory or compliance-driven transformation initiatives.
