The area specializes in Trade Finance, Working Capital, Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management solutions, supporting clients in optimizing liquidity, managing international trade, and financing their day-to-day business activities. 

About the job:

Role Overview:

BBVA is looking for a Associate Lead – Business Management & Execution to join its Global Transaction Banking team in Italy.

This role sits at the heart of transaction execution, acting as a key link between clients, relationship teams and operational units, with exposure to a broad range of local and international GTB products.

What you will do:

• Support the execution of Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, Import & Export Letters of Credit, Working Capital solutions, Factoring and Supply Chain Finance.

• Act as the main operational point of contact for clients after deal closing, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

• Review transactional documentation and coordinate internal approvals in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex, cross-border transactions.

• Support payments, collections and operational monitoring linked to GTB activities.

• Contribute to reporting, transaction monitoring and performance tracking.

• Support supplier onboarding for Supply Chain Finance programs.

Who you are:
 

• You have experience in transaction banking, trade finance or guarantees, ideally in an international environment.

• You are client-oriented, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced, regulated and international context.

• You are fluent in English and Italian (Spanish is a plus).

The annual fixed salary associated with the position starts at 69.795€ gross per annum.

The salary stated above is indicative and corresponds to the annual fixed salary associated with the position. In addition, the following shall apply:
 

• The variable remuneration scheme established by the Bank and in force from time to time, designed to recognise individual performance and contribution to the collective achievements of both the Bank and the relevant business unit, in accordance with the applicable criteria and internal policies.

• The employee benefits made available to staff from time to time.

• Any other salary components, allowances or supplementary payments that may apply pursuant to the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement, internal policies, or the specific conditions of the role and the successful candidate.
