The Group Treasury Regulatory Reporting team within Group Finance under the Financial Management pillar, delivers quality capital and liquidity information to meet global regulatory reporting obligations under a robust risk management framework as well as calculations and analysis required for balance sheet management.
In this senior leadership role, the Head of Group Treasury Regulatory Reporting Capital will be responsible for delivering capital regulatory reporting and internal capital metrics to support capital management for Macquarie. Macquarie is currently delivering a multi-year treasury reporting transformation programme. You will be instrumental in leading the GT Regulatory Reporting Capital team through this transformation of data, business processes and systems. Reporting to the Global Head of Group Treasury Regulatory Reporting, you will lead a team of approximately 45 professionals across Australia and India. What role will you play?

You will deliver Macquarie Group’s global prudential and internal reporting obligations. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise regulatory reporting processes, with a strong focus on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. You will lead complex projects responding to regulatory and business change and spearhead transformative initiatives to strengthen organisational capabilities.
You will foster and maintain strong partnerships with the operating groups, both their Treasury teams as well as their data management teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of regulatory data and will work collaboratively with them to address issues and to ensure that Macquarie remains within risk appetite for data quality and manual adjustments for capital regulatory reporting.
You will provide strategic guidance on compliance requirements, proactively identify potential issues or areas of concern, and act as a trusted advisor on the implications of regulatory changes for organisational strategy. Key responsibilities will include supporting communication with our Prudential regulator, reporting and updates to management including CFO, Board Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee and working with our auditors each year during key audit processes.
