We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Energy & Power team, supporting large and complex accounts within the Energy and Power sector. You will build and nurture client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, pursue new business opportunities, and expand the range of Marsh products and services held by your clients in this dynamic industry.
We will count on you to:
Work in a team-based servicing environment, supporting Energy and Power clients through their insurance renewals and annual insurance cycle.
Provide support to Senior Account Executives and Principals with portfolio management.
Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of risk management and insurance programmes that accurately address client needs.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acquiring an understanding their business and insurance needs.
Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the Energy & Power portfolio by understanding internal offerings, market trends, and client priorities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, and other documentation.
Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, and claims managers while developing a technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance.
What you need to have:
Experience in a commercial insurance environment
Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of general business functions, finance, and related issues
A dedication to quality in all aspects of work performance and client services, with a passion for customer service.
Strong teamwork skills, maintaining solid working relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various audiences.
Tier 1 compliance certification and/or be prepared to work towards achieving compliance.
Willingness to learn about the Energy & Power sector
