Job Requisition ID: 41737
- Shape model risk management, capital markets and risk transformation work for banks, government and major corporates across Australia.
- Belong to a workplace that values diversity, equity and inclusion
- Build relationships with in-person connection across our teams and clients, with flexibility to balance work and life
- This is an opportunity in Deloitte's Treasury and Risk team, open across multiple locations in Australia with a hybrid work model, and we're open to supporting relocation to Australia for the right person.
What will your typical day look like?
Working closely with Directors, Partners and specialist practitioners, you'll lead advisory engagements across banking, capital markets and risk, helping clients respond to complex risk, quantitative and regulatory challenges. That could mean modelling interest rate risk and market risks, shaping our derivative valuation platform, reviewing regulatory submissions for model accreditations, advising on market risk, liquidity and funding, or strengthening governance and controls in highly regulated environments.
Your work will influence decisions at the executive and board level. You'll oversee quantitative and regulatory projects, bring evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders, and help clients across banking, public sector, commodity and energy settings navigate issues that sit at the centre of resilience, performance and trust.
Variety comes naturally in this role. Alongside advisory work, you'll contribute to projects delivered through advisory work and internal audit channels, while also supporting and developing a team of Treasury and Risk practitioners across the broader practice. It's a role for someone who enjoys combining technical depth, client leadership and people leadership in equal measure.
About the team
Deloitte's specialist Treasury and Risk team works with banking, government and corporate clients across advisory and audit channels. The team supports clients on model risk management, financial risk management, treasury strategy, operating model and transformation, cash management and payments, working capital optimisation, and operational risk across treasury and investment functions. It's a practice that sits close to the issues shaping financial services and the real economy, giving you the chance to work on complex challenges with real commercial and regulatory significance.
