Front Office Software Engineer, Commodities

Our Front Office technology team is a collaborative global community of technology enthusiasts who partner with the Commodities and Global Markets business to play a key role in delivering the business strategy. What role will you play?
As an engineer in the team, you'll leverage your technical expertise to develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality software systems that support our Commodities business and clients. You'll gain a deep understanding of commodities trading by partnering directly with our trading desks to deliver positive business outcomes. You’ll take ownership and accountability for your work, collaborating with senior business stakeholders to realize new opportunities, and see the positive impact on revenue growth and operational efficiencies through technology solutions.Salary range for this position: $80,000-112,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
What you offer
- Engineering experience with Python in a commercial context. Experience with C++ preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud technologies.
- Practice working in an AI-assisted development lifecycle, including analysis, development, and testing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a business-facing context.
- Focus on software quality, engineering best practice, and operational risk.
- An awareness of financial markets and enthusiasm to learn more. Experience with commodities and derivative products preferred.
- Enthusiasm for operating production systems to deliver a first-class stakeholder experience.
