Your work profile
We are seeking an Integration Specialist to bridge our Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC). You will align infrastructure monitoring with security incident response.
Key skills required
6+ years in ITSM, ITIL process management, or operations center roles.
Framework & Workflow Design
- Design unified processes for event, incident, and problem management across NOC and SOC.
- Map overlapping workflows to ensure seamless handoffs between network and security teams.
- Configure ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) for cross-team escalation.
- Standardize impact levels to prioritize critical security patches and network outages together.
Integration & Automation
- Design ITSM workflows.
- Integrate monitoring tools with the ITSM platform.
- Collaborate with automation teams to reduce manual effort.
- Support API-based integrations.
- Maintain CMDB accuracy by mapping security assets to network configuration items.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Enforce compliance standards like ISO 27001, ITIL, and SOC 2 within operational workflows.
- Maintain audit evidence, Support internal and external audits.
- Develop SOPs and operational documentation.
- Lead continual service improvement and ongoing process maturity through regular reviews of the process and tools, trend analysis and metrics reporting and through regular engagement with stakeholders
Administration of ITSM platforms with experience on one or more of ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Helix / Remedy, Freshservice, Ivanti, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus etc.
Certifications
- Mandatory: ITIL 4 Foundation, Preferred: Managing Professional or Strategic Leader.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar foundational security certifications.
- Comptia Network+, CCNA, or similar foundational networking certifications.
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
