Process Overview*
This role is an individual contributor position responsible for delivering best-in-class technology solutions within the Identity Authentication & Authorization domain.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of delivering innovative products and solutions, along with deep expertise in their area and the ability to solve complex technical problems. They will possess a solid understanding of modern development practices and exhibit strong ownership in driving outcomes.
Job Description*
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
Responsibilities*
- Design, develop and accountable for feature delivery.
- Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.
- Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
- Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support.
- Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.
- Participate in work breakdown and execution.
- Play a team member role, as an individual contributor.
- Mentor other team members whenever required.
- Participate in planning & estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices.
- Identify skill and role gaps and work with the Technology Manager to address them.
- Patriciate in creating resource contingency plans where required.
- Oversee detailed execution of assigned deliverables at every level - Requirements gathering, technical design, build and quality assurance.
- Ensure system design and requirements are aligned with business outcomes
- Uphold and promote coding standards, quality principles, and best practices across the team
Requirements*
Education* : Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Engineering
Certifications If Any* : NA
Experience Range* : 8+ yrs
Foundational skills*
- Strong experience in building large scale Java applications.
- Strong skills in design and developing robust RESTAPI and Micro Services. Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with SQL, Stored Procedures, and Oracle DB
- Skilled in using CI/CD tool set (JIRA/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)
- Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment
- Proficiency in developing container-based architecture.
- Self-motived individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead large and complex tasks including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements.
- Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired skills*
- Exposure mission critical web and API based applications.
- Familiarity with containerization, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Experience to Camunda and process orchestration
- Exposure to cryptography and programming with HSM
