Practice Area
BCG Platinion launched in Germany in 2000 to add deep technical expertise to the Boston Consulting Group’s existing capabilities. Our New York-based North American team began in 2014 and in 2017 acquired MAYA Design, a Pittsburgh-based digital design and innovation lab, to grow our capabilities around technology and design.
We support our clients’ total digital transformation through technology, design, cybersecurity, and risk management & financial engineering capabilities. And together with BCG, BCG Platinion’s interdisciplinary team of technical experts enable customized technical solutions and accelerate delivery value through new business platforms, application consolidations, and major system implementations.
What You'll Do
As a (Senior) AI Tech Consultant – ERP, within BCG Platinion’s Enterprise Solutions team, you will help leading organizations shape and deliver AI-enabled ERP transformations that create measurable business value. Combining strategic consulting with ERP, SAP, and AI expertise, you will work alongside multidisciplinary BCG and client teams to define transformation roadmaps, target operating models, and deliver next-generation enterprise solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, and SAP Business AI (including Joule). You will take ownership of project workstreams, guide client technology teams, ensure delivery quality, and manage risks and expectations. You will help clients adopt agile practices and modern delivery models to maximize business value from technology investments. You will contribute to BCG Platinion’s digital and technology agenda by:- Developing innovative solutions that drive client transformation.
- Supporting business development through proposals and client relationship management.
- Participating in internal initiatives to strengthen the Platinion practice and enhance BCG’s market positioning.
You will also benefit from structured training programs, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunities to grow your technical and consulting expertise.
What You'll Bring
- 3 - 7 years of experience delivering ERP and SAP transformation programmes within a management or technology consulting firm, system integrator or comparable client-facing environment.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: SAP functional domains (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing or Human Resources); SAP solution and integration architecture and hands-on exposure to modern SAP Solution and SAP AI technologies technology components (e.g. SAP BTP, SAP Business Data Cloud, Integration suite, SAP Joule…)
- Experience contributing to or owning a module, functional area, architecture stream or data workstream across multiple phases of an ERP transformation.
- Practical knowledge of SAP Activate and Agile or traditional ERP delivery methodologies
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, solution design, documentation, testing or programme delivery
- Understanding of SAP AI use cases (e.g. embedded analytics, automation, copilots, agentic AI).
- Strong problem solving and structured analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
- Fluent in French and English
