Job Purpose

The Actuarial Associate Manager (In-force Business) is responsible for providing actuarial insights through claims management analysis, supporting business decision-making, risk monitoring, and portfolio management. The role applies professional judgement to investigate claims experience, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements in reporting, analytics, and operational processes.


Accountability

1.    Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality claims analyses and insights.

2.    Apply sound professional judgement to identify risks, opportunities, and appropriate actions.

3.    Maintain compliance with governance, control, and reporting requirements.

4.    Build credibility and effective partnerships across stakeholders.

Contribute to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key responsibilities

Scope 1: Claims management

Scope 2: Process enhancement

Scope 3: Reinsurance

Scope 4: Ad-hoc

Support the team Senior Manager/ Head of IFC with other ad-hoc related requests.

Knowledge and skill set:

Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
