About the role:
Roles and Responsiblities
• Working knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) with focus on Order Management (order entry, validation, allocation, delivery coordination, billing handoff).
• Ability to manage order exceptions: price/discount mismatch, stock availability, delivery blocks, credit holds, master data errors, order amendments/cancellations.
• Understanding of order types, cut-offs, shipping conditions, and basic returns
• Basic knowledge of customer master elements (bill-to/ship-to, payment terms, tax indicators) and their impact on order processing.
- Payment Matching: Apply daily cash receipts, wire transfers, and checks to exact customer invoices using remittance advice.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate unapplied or unidentified cash and manage short-payments or billing discrepancies.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations alongside the accounts receivable and collections teams.
- Reporting: Generate aging reports and track metrics like Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Required Skills & Software
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable workflows.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and finance systems like SAP, Oracle, or HighRadius.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Skills and Competencies:
Good knowledge of accounting concepts and Accounts Receivable Process
Good and clear communication skills in English (verbal and written) are a must.
