This is a Regional Infrastructure Project Management role. He/she plays a pivotal role in managing projects across multiple locations, ensuring successful delivery of projects across APAC. This role requires tactical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence to achieve organizational goals in alignment with corporate objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and address roadblocks proactively.
- Establish and maintain standards for project management excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Act as the escalation point for critical project issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and regional stakeholders.
- Analyse and optimize project workflows and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Report regularly on KPIs, project performance, and financial outcomes to the executive leadership team.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize project delivery across locations.
- Align regional project management practices with organizational goals.
- Serve as a key member of the Project Portfolio Management team, contributing to overall Infrastructure Project Portfolio Delivery.
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Infrastructure project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior project management role.
- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
- Experience in project management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to drive changes and foster innovation.
- Cross-cultural communication and global perspective.
- Financial acumen and budget management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Valid PMP certification
