Associate, Financial Planning and Analysis

Work you’ll do

 Service delivery

• Manage day-to-day tasks for the assigned business group, including accurate review, coding, and reconciliation of expenses and financial transactions. Monitor daily transactions and perform periodic reconciliations of general ledgers for assigned business units. Support senior team members during periodic forecasting and month-end book closure processes.
• Develop and demonstrate proficiency in relevant systems, tools, and processes. Utilize systems like SAP, AO, Sidecar, and other relevant applications to extract information efficiently for reporting and analysis.
• Prepare standard recurring reports, dashboards, and presentations (headcount/cost reports, monthly close reports). Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
• Demonstrate accountability for assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Support both business projects and global initiatives effectively.
• Proactively identify and address process and system challenges, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support process improvement and automation initiatives under guidance, gaining early exposure to digital tools and efficiency-driven projects.
• Apply foundational knowledge of financial and business concepts in daily operational tasks and reporting activities.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to projects and initiatives that drive business outcomes. Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, controllers, business partners, and cross-functional teams at all levels. Adapt to a dynamic environment and demonstrate strong teamwork.

Qualifications required

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline (MBA, CMA, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated foundational knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including financial reporting standards, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement interpretation.
• Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (SAP, Anaplan, SWIFT, Analysis for Office), with an ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to create and update data presentations in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, commitment to quality and timeliness, and an ability to understand the broader business context.
• Demonstrated performance drive, initiative, and effective self-management.
• Adaptability, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
