MAIN PURPOSE
The Regional Marketing & Merchandising Senior Executive is a pivotal role within the Regional Marketing & Merchandising department, whose mission is to drive sell-out performance and portfolio productivity across distribution networks and product categories for North Asia region that includes Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Hainan markets.
The role brings a transversal regional perspective for Jewellery category (both High-end & Core businesses), enabling data-driven performance consolidation and a cross-functional prioritization of portfolio priorities. In parallel, the role provides strategic merchandising operational support to different markets, ensuring regional alignment and performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the implementation of the strategic vision for the Jewellery product category’s growth
- Assist the Senior Manager in conducting thorough market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights gathering to inform regional marketing and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for both product marketing and merchandising functions (both at a local and regional level)
- Support in defining the category’s 3-year strategic plan for the region
Animate product category and market activations
- Provide business analysis (monthly, yearly, ad-hoc, etc.) and deliver key insights to pilot the category
- Collaborate with regional markets to gather insights on performance, identify collectively risks and opportunities and mobilize resources to address them
- Provide regularly product priorities and training materials to Communication / Clients / VM & Commercial teams
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to implement strategic actions to boost performance
Support regional merchandising strategy
- International Showroom Management: support the Jewellery Senior Manager across all phases of the International Showroom, from pre-event analysis and preparation to real-time information dissemination and post-event data/feedback consolidation
- Regional Product Strategy & Launch: Facilitate product launches (including communication, training, and initial stock allocation) and collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to define and revise regional product assortments and network strategies
- Performance Monitoring & Merchandising Guidelines: Track regional performance, targets, and qualitative feedback for HQ, and deliver clear merchandising guidelines and toolkits to streamline execution and product priorities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Client teams to elevate our clienteling activation initiatives in line with business and elevate KPIs
- Support and collaborate with regional Operations and Commercial teams to define and revise product assortment (by cluster / by boutique) and network strategies
Develop and share regional Jewellery market intelligence
- Market & Trend Analysis: develop a good understanding of the Region landscape by closely collaborating with local teams
- Research & Insights: conduct market research and provide regular updates on market & region happenings (to management and to HQ relevant teams)
- Pricing Strategy: prepare and conduct regular pricing reviews to ensure competitive and strategic positioning
Ensure cross-functional collaboration
- Act as a key liaison, fostering effective communication and collaboration between the regional marketing and merchandising team and other internal departments (e.g., Global Marketing, Sales, Retail, Product Development, Communications, Operations).
- Ensure seamless information flow and alignment across teams to support integrated strategies and successful execution of initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in luxury industry, particularly in strong analytical roles (Jewellery experience in the luxury sector is a plus)
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese is highly advantageous
