Job Summary

Strategy
• Provide insights and highlight areas of opportunity to CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) Business and Products. Ensure reports are submitted in line with group policies/standards. 

Business
• Understand the drivers of various lines of business and analyse the drivers that can influence delivery of planned target with Risk / opportunities.
• Jointly work with CIB Business Finance team to support CIB view of TB (Trasaction Banking) / FM (Financial Markets) / CF (Corporate Finance) related matters where input from TB/ FM / CF is required

Processes
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of management information.
• Perform detail margin analysis and guide Segment, Product and Business Heads of CIB on margin and other important components of the income
• Manage preparation and submission of group financial report in a timely manner
• Liaise with Group CIB Finance in connection with Group Accounting / Management Policies and compliance with Group standards. Respond to Group Finance queries proactively.

People & Talent
• Understanding Business knowledge and accounting standards are required for this role 

Risk Management
• Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies
• Ensure Bank’s compliance obligations (Statutory/Group/Local Authorities including submission of returns) are met

Governance
• Ensure robust documentation is in place for activities via timely update and review of the DOIs

Qualifications

• Graduation with good analytical skills. Candidates with professional degree (CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA) will be given preference 
• 3-5 years of corporate experience, preferably in a financial institution. 
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Oracle (erstwhile PeopleSoft) Financials will be an added advantage
• Experience and ability to identify MIS requirements and systems to deliver the same for CCIB Business and Finance counterparts
• Proven track record of being able to strike a fine balance between demands of belonging to a business group whilst maintaining the functional independence on issues
