Job Title: Python Developer – Infrastructure & Virtualization
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong infrastructure knowledge to support, automate, and optimize data center and virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python programming, deep understanding of server and networking infrastructure, and practical exposure to VMware technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and tools for infrastructure automation and monitoring
- Support and manage data center infrastructure including DL servers and network switches
- Perform configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of VMware environments
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and operations teams to resolve system issues
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure components
- Document processes, scripts, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Good understanding of infrastructure components such as:
- DL servers
- Network switches
- Storage and compute environments
- Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics)
- Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure and virtualization issues
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and system monitoring tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools
- Exposure to Linux system administration
- Knowledge of cloud platforms or hybrid environments
- VMware certifications are a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience in networking and Python-based automation.
