Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven consumer Marketing professional to join our KENDO marketing team. This role is responsible for developing and executing targeted consumer marketing strategies by understanding consumer journeys, driving brand presence, boosting brand awareness as well as retail sales.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, consumer insight, retail know how and a deep passion for the beauty industry to deliver impactful trade initiatives and achieve commercial growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Performance:
- Marketing activation & retail event Execution: Lead the creation and execution of high-impact consumer events for brand level awareness & retail events.
- Plan and execute end-to-end consumer marketing activations, including brand-level events, new product launches, in-store promotions, pop-up stores, and seasonal limited-time offers.
- Develop innovative event concepts, map and optimize the end-to-end customer journey — from pre-event awareness through in-store experience to post-event retention — to maximize foot traffic, in-store conversion.
- Develop and implement annual and seasonal trade marketing calendars aligned with overall brand sales and marketing goals, channel-specific strategies tailored to different retail formats Collaborate closely with sales and retail operations teams to ensure flawless in-store execution and timely rollout of campaigns across all POS.
- Manage and continuously optimize gift-with-purchase (GWP) programs, exclusive gift sets, and member-only promotions for the store channel. Lead the design and implementation of point-of-sale (POS) materials, ensuring brand visual identity consistency and compelling storytelling at shelf
- Regularly communicating with internal stakeholders & retail team to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing activation, retail experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the Chinese beauty market and consumer behavior.
- Creative mind-set from activation concept to consumer engagement.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels.
