PRODUCTION DIRECTOR (Florence- ITALY)

YOUR IMPACT
- Strategic and Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire manufacturing process in both plants, with the objective of meeting and exceeding expected volumes and efficiency targets.
- Production Planning, Scheduling and Optimization: Ensure adherence to daily and weekly production plans in both sites, overseeing and optimizing production scheduling activities, collaborating closely with the planning department to optimize workflows and mitigate deviations.
- Operational Excellence: Actively supervise and lead production transformation projects aimed at increasing agility and responsiveness; champion and drive continuous improvement initiatives across both plants, leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Quality Standards: Ensure full compliance with the highest quality standards for finished products, implementing and overseeing robust and proactive quality control processes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed progress reports on efficiency and other relevant KPIs for both plants, presenting analyses and recommendations to Industrial Director and his peers.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies, promoting safe behaviors and a secure working environment.
- Team Management and Development: Lead, motivate, and support a team of:
- 2 Production Managers directly managed
- 9 Production Supervisors and 3 Industrialization Technician
- 1 HRBP, 1 Financial Controlling and 1 Planning Manager in Radda Plant
- Approximately 400 artisans
fostering professional development, versatility, and skill growth. Oversee recruitment, training, and workforce planning processes.
- Support and collaborate with the Operational Excellence Manager and his team.
