As a manager specialising in Agentic Product Design within our Experience & Marketing Transformation team, you will lead the design and front-end delivery of cutting-edge AI-powered experiences. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of UX design and software engineering — you will both craft the user experience and build it, bridging the gap between design intent and technical implementation.

You will work with clients to reimagine how their customers and employees interact with AI agents, autonomous systems, and intelligent platforms. From conversational interfaces and multi-step agentic workflows to trust-centered AI interaction design, you will ensure that AI experiences are not only technically robust but genuinely human, intuitive, and impactful. Your ability to move fluidly between Figma and code, between user empathy and engineering precision, will put you at the genuine frontier of what digital experience teams are building right now.

You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions for iconic brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead end-to-end UX design for AI-powered and agentic applications, spanning conversational interfaces, agent orchestration flows, multi-step decision pathways, error states, and human-in-the-loop interaction patterns.
• Manage design workstreams from discovery through to delivery, owning the design process, setting quality standards, and ensuring outputs meet client requirements and user needs.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems for agentic products and digital platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and brand coherence.
• Develop front-end implementations of designed experiences using modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS), bridging the gap between design and engineering with production-quality code.
• Drive user research, usability testing, and design validation to ensure AI agent interactions are intuitive, transparent, and build user trust, iterating designs based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and front-end developers, providing structured feedback, establishing design-to-code handoff processes, and raising team quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure design feasibility, define interaction patterns for agentic workflows, and contribute to component libraries and design system standards across the EMT practice.

To excel in this role, you will need a unique combination of design craft and technical engineering skills, coupled with a curiosity for AI and an instinct for creating experiences that feel effortless to users even when powered by sophisticated technology.

You will have:

• Proven experience in UX/UI design for digital products and platforms, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work across web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, with experience building structured design systems and component libraries.
• Demonstrable front-end development skills including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern framework (React preferred), with experience delivering production-quality front-end code.
• Experience planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops to validate design decisions and iterate on concepts.
• Proven experience managing design workstreams, leading small design teams or squads, and mentoring junior designers or developers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Familiarity with designing for AI, chatbot, or conversational user interfaces, with an understanding of how agentic AI multi-step workflows affect user experience design (desirable).
• Experience contributing to or managing design systems and reusable component libraries (desirable).
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles (desirable).
• Confidence using AI tools and LLMs as part of design and development workflows to improve quality and efficiency.
