Job Description

About the Team:

The Strategy, Innovation & Planning (SIP) team serves as Invesco’s central AI hub, focused on advancing innovation and delivering impactful AI solutions across the firm. Our team is focused on rapid experimentation using new AI tools and technologies to solve business problems. We are focused on using various agentic frameworks and building business-sponsored GenAI use cases that drive operational efficiency. Beyond product development, SIP actively fosters AI adoption across Invesco through initiatives such as AI/ML Meetups, hackathons, and cross-team collaborations.

About the Role:

As Software Engineer on the SIP team, you will help design, build, and scale next-generation AI applications that solve complex business problems. You will work in a highly collaborative, agile environment with a startup mindset—focused on rapid experimentation, continuous learning, and hands-on engineering. This role is designed for a creative technologist who views AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM APIs) or Agentic Frameworks (Microsoft Copilot Studio, AgentCore/Strands, LangGraph etc.) as fundamental to their workflow, enabling them to contribute directly to the future of AI at Invesco.
