You can look forward to
- Starting with a structured onboarding programme and gradually taking on responsibility for managing the placement process – from business origination and pricing through to final underwriting decisions
- Reviewing and assessing enquiries for structured reinsurance solutions, developing tailored concepts and conducting negotiations with clients
- Managing and renewing existing reinsurance contracts, as well as planning, monitoring and coordinating business data in line with defined quality standards
- Preparing actuarially sound analyses and projections to ensure and actively manage the profitability of reinsurance contracts
- Maintaining existing business relationships and supporting the development of new partnerships, including regular in-person meetings in Hannover and worldwide
- Working closely with our (international) colleagues in Underwriting, Actuarial, Accounting and Natural Catastrophe Modelling
You come equipped with
- A completed Master’s degree in Business Mathematics, Mathematics or Physics with a strong economic focus
- Initial practical experience in the insurance or financial services sector, for example through internships or working student roles
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately five to six trips per year)
- A solution-oriented, forward-thinking and responsible approach to work combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills
