Main Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Store Director, the Sales Manager will help the store achieve sales goals and lead the Sales and Customer Experience in the Store by ensuring the excellence of client service, motivating and supporting the sales team to achieve sales targets and manage their development:
- Actively present on the floor to directly drive store sales and exceptional customer experience.
- Coaching sales team members both "in the moment" as well as monthly formal sales and performance feedback to ensure continuous results, standards and development of team members.
- Train and motivates the team, create a sense of team spirit, creating a positive environment within which sales objectives are achieved and a high-quality service is delivered.
- Act as a role model during selling interactions.
- Ensure a welcoming environment in line with company standards.
- Create and present daily briefs to the associate team, ensuring open communication, continuous learning and motivation.
- Attract, develop and retain clients for the boutique.
- Act as an ambassador of Hermès, demonstrating excellence in all interactions.
- Handle difficult customer interactions while maintaining brand values and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assist team members in the selling process and any other sales floor operation.
- Plan and coordinate sales floor coverage to ensure associate presence in all areas of the store for customer service and loss prevention.
- Recruit sales associates and organize their onboarding and integration to the team.
- Partner with the Operations team and Store Leadership to ensure all Hermès guidelines, standards and objectives are exceeded.
Key Skills and Experience
At least 5-10 years of retail management experience.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with a strong record of superior sales results.
Recognized ability to manage, coach and develop employees.
Humble, hands on and lead by example leader.
Excellent communication with strong business partnering across parts of the company.

- Open availability to meet the needs of the business.
COMPENSATION
The anticipated total annual compensation range (inclusive of any applicable base salary, bonuses, and other incentives) for this position is $100,000 – $130,000. For final offers, we take into consideration factors such as experience, skills, responsibilities of the position, and internal equity.
