Demand Planning Gen-Next Programme (Full-Time Internship)

JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to help build the future-ready, integrated, customer-centric, and value-driven supply chain ecosystem by supporting demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities. As part of the Unilever Gen-Next Programme, you will gain hands-on experience in one of the world's leading consumer goods companies while developing the skills and capabilities needed to kick-start your career.

You will work alongside experienced professionals to enhance planning processes, strengthen collaboration across functions, and contribute to creating a more resilient and agile supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Demand Planning team in developing integrated volume and sales plans as part of the S&OP process.
• Collaborate with Customer Development, Marketing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams to gather and analyze business inputs.
• Assist in demand forecasting activities by consolidating data, identifying trends, and highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to supply chain planning initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, responsiveness, and service levels.
• Support the preparation of planning reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Leverage digital tools and technologies to improve planning accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze market, consumer, customer, and industry trends to support planning recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance planning capabilities.
• Gain exposure to downstream supply chain operations and develop an understanding of end-to-end supply chain management.
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently in the 4th year of a Bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in a Master’s degree program.
• Available to contribute a minimum of 3 days per week on a full-time basis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect insights from multiple data sources.
• Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and willingness to take initiative.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Interest in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Business Analytics, Operations, or related fields.
• Digital savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in data analysis and digital transformation.
• Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
