Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice works on assignments related to international trade engagements for government clients specializing in trade policy, economic development and global market access initiatives among others
Your work profile
The Civil Infrastructure Expert is responsible for assessing site suitability, reviewing civil and structural infrastructure plans, evaluating physical asset development, and providing technical advisory support for infrastructure project appraisal, compliance, and implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment of site suitability, land infrastructure, and physical development requirements for Data Center projects.
- Review of civil, structural, and architectural designs submitted by project proponents.
- Evaluation of: Building layouts , Structural systems , Foundation designs, Utility infrastructure, Water management systems , Drainage systems
- Assessment of disaster resilience against flood, seismic, and environmental risks.
- Verification of infrastructure-related capital investment claims.
- Evaluation of construction progress and physical asset creation.
- Review of compliance with applicable building codes, development regulations, and infrastructure standards.
- Support in technical due diligence and project appraisal.
- Preparation of infrastructure assessment reports and recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in planning, design, review, construction supervision, or assessment of large infrastructure projects including Data Centers, Industrial Parks, Technology Parks, or similar infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of infrastructure requirements for high-density Data Centers
- Experience in geotechnical assessments and foundation design reviews.
- Experience in disaster-resilient infrastructure.
- Experience in green building and sustainable infrastructure development.
- Experience in Government infrastructure projects and statutory approval processes.
Preferred Certifications
- Professional certifications in Infrastructure Planning, Construction Management, Green Building, or related fields shall be desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 - 12 years’ experience
- Education – Btech/BE
- Location - Ahmedabad
Education
- B.tech/BE in Civil Engineering
- M.E./M.Tech. in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructure Planning, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline shall be preferred
