Department Overview:
The Marketing Analytics function within AI2 is a central source of internal and external digital insights and data analytics which supports both corporate and business unit strategies for TD Bank Financial Group Canada
The Marketing Analytics team mission is to be influential change agents and consumer advocates to help deliver the better bank and to drive shareholder return through optimizing the impact of customer experience. We do this by delivering hindsight (descriptive analytics), foresight (predictive analytics), and insight (prescriptive analytics) on how to optimize, personalize and strategize. The group seeks to deliver excellence in analytics and insights to support short-term business success as well as long-term strategy of the bank.
The Digital Marketing Analytics & Insights team brings together a diverse range of technical and business expertise including digital analytics, website analytics, big data, cloud, E2E analytics, market research, business analytics, data science and modelling, business intelligence, data strategy and governance, data management and visualization.
Job Overview:
Marketing Analytics Team supports the central marketing function within TD Bank Group with high quality, innovative, and insightful information to help build value for our customers and shareholders. Marketing Analytics Team is a located in Toronto. It supports most consumer facing TD Bank Group lines of business.
Your goal as a part of the Marketing Analytics team is to use data & scientific methodologies to understand and learn the client experience and suggest improvements and changes to better personalize the consumer experience and return greater shareholder value. You will be a key player in the TD's personalization journey and will collaborate with different groups within and outside of marketing to drive change.
Measurement for all marketing channels for TD Insurance businesses Applying marketing analytics techniques MTA (Multi-touch attribution), MMM (Media Mix Model) and Causal inference method to understand the true value of marketing and suggest optimzation opportunities Understand the business objective, translate those into a test and use the results to make informed decisions Work in a consultative role to provide "value-added" insights in the form of analysis, interpretation and advice of website personalization
Your success will be predicated on your ability to forge strong partnerships, communicate effectively, solve problems, and continuously strive for achieving results.
Accountabilities include:
- Continuously improve campaign design and delivery by leveraging any and all analytical tools/techniques at your disposal
- Manage your project pipeline to ensure agreed upon timelines can be met
- Work alognside 2 analytics teams to enable best in class analytics
- Proactively provide analytical guidance to key stakeholders, based on deep understanding of the businesses, to understand and enhance the personalization experience
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in A/B testing, website analytics, attribution, regressions, ML or agency-side role in financial services/telecom (or other high volume direct marketing industries)
- Degree in business, science, statistics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline
- Significant experience with in marketing analytics techniques across digital and owned channels
- Knowledge of testing methologies and clickstream data; knowledge of databases and data structures
- Track record of getting things done and solving problems
- Acturial backround or knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset
- Experience with pyspark and data bricks an asset
- Experience in with marketing measurement methods MTA (Multi-touch attribution), MMM (Media Mix Model) and Causal inference method is an asset
