Carlyle AlpInvest is a leading global private equity investor with over USD 102 billion of assets under management as per September 30, 2025. Approximately 75% of these funds are invested in private equity funds globally, including primary and secondary transactions, with the remainder invested directly in companies as a co-investor in Europe, North America and Asia. The company has approximately 270 employees based primarily in Amsterdam, New York, Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Tokyo. Carlyle AlpInvest is part of The Carlyle Group.

Position Summary

Carlyle AlpInvest seeks to hire an Analyst with a focus on primary fund investments with also exposure to secondary and co-investment activities. The Analyst is a two-year program (with optional 6 months extension). Located in our Hong Kong office and reporting to Partner of AlpInvest Primary Investments, the Analyst is expected to play a key role in providing support in investment functions including financial modeling, valuation, analysis of private equity investments, preparation of investment recommendations, post-investment portfolio monitoring, as well as various ad hoc reports and projects as needed.
