Job Summary

Lead governance and oversight of partnerships in Collections, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective controls, risk management, and audit readiness. Drive partner performance governance and stakeholder engagement to maintain a robust and compliant collections ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
Partnership Governance & Control Framework
• Establish and maintain a robust governance framework for all collections partnerships (tie-ups, fintech partners, agencies).
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, Group, and local policies, including outsourcing and conduct risk requirements.
• Design and deploy control mechanisms, audits, and governance checkpoints across the partner lifecycle.
• Drive standardization of governance practices across geographies and partners.

Risk, Compliance & Audit Readiness
• Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, internal audit requirements, and outsourcing frameworks.
• Lead partner governance reviews, internal audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Identify emerging risks (operational, conduct, reputational) and implement mitigation plans proactively.
• Maintain documentation and evidence for audit and regulatory validation.

Partner Performance Oversight
• Ensure partners are aligned to agreed strategy, segmentation, and treatment frameworks.
• Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and scorecards for partners.

Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Act as the single point of accountability for governance
• Engage with Business, Risk, Legal, Compliance, BRM and Audit teams for alignment and approvals.
• Conduct regular governance forums with partners to review performance, controls, and issues.

Business
• Awareness and understanding of how large partners work and need to know the local regulations and governance framework broadly. Should be able to design new process and simplify existing ones

Processes
• Ensure adherence to the laid down governance process and policies 

People & Talent 
• Being example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations in collaboration with managers and stakeholders.

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience in Governance and process re-engineering like Six Sigma
