As a Principal, you will:
Lead high-impact consulting engagements that help financial services clients solve complex, strategic challenges and drive measurable results.
Manage end-to-end project delivery (or key modules), including hypothesis development, data gathering, and rigorous analysis to generate actionable insights.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, influencing decisions and expanding long-term partnerships.
Partner closely with Oliver Wyman leadership to deliver exceptional work quality and raise the bar on client impact.
Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and learning-oriented culture.
Drive thought leadership by shaping and communicating market insights that strengthen Oliver Wyman’s profile in the financial services industry.
What you will bring
Just as every client project is different, so we recognize and value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets for successful candidates. We are seeking high-calibre individuals who want to join our winning team. Preference will be given to candidates with:
At least 8-10 years of relevant Financial Services experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organisation) or with industry experience from a strategy department or inhouse consulting
Track record of leading and managing teams or work streams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
Financial services industry knowledge, breadth across or depth within one of our practice areas is preferred.
Ability to apply content knowledge for thought leadership in project execution, develop new intellectual capital to support business development activities, and for Principal hires to lead these activities
Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives
Undergraduate and/or advanced degree from a top academic program
Willingness to travel
