Work you’ll do
Oversee project goals, scrum, create and deliver reports, analyze data from project execution, and any other duties determined by project managers. You ill oversee development of Applications developed using technologies such as ASP.Net MVC, Angular, HMTL5 and bootstrap. Your objective is to ensure that all deliverables meet standards and business requirements. You are knowledgeable in Agile methodology and scrum and able to educate others. You will act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owner and maintain a safe working environment for the team by organizing development priorities and by resolving conflicts. It is a unique opportunity to be a part of growing USI Tax Transformation team that drives consistency, quality, and efficiency through priority applications in the marketplace. You will demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of business and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test case development, test execution, and defect creation per defined guidelines
- Follow and help in improving the defined project QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Provide inputs for test strategy & planning
- Review the test artifacts created and executed by the junior QAs
- Creating test reports
- Become a part of the Scrum team and work closely with BA, Developer, Scrum Master, and PO to work on manual & automation testing activities
- Write test documentation to a level of detail where another QA analyst can easily follow
- Create test data sets for manual and automation tests (positive and negative scenarios)
- Perform Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, E2E Integration, Data Migration, and Data Validation testing in various test environments
- Run automated Smoke tests as part of Azure DevOps CI/CD + Regression & E2E integration tests at scheduled times and monitor test execution results
- Work with cross-functional teams, BA, & Dev to ensure proper test coverage & show work progress
- Write SQL queries to perform backend DB verification
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on product functionality

Deloitte Tax LLP’s Chief Technology Office (CTO) team is responsible for the design, development and deployment of tax tools for the US Tax Practice. The professionals on the STAC team are focused on assisting Deloitte Tax in its efforts to deliver quality, comprehensive, value-added, and efficient client services using tax tools to our clients. The team consults and executes a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.
Work Location: Hyderabad/ Gurugram
Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM // 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Qualification
Required:
- Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skill is a must
- Willingness to work extra hours to meet deliverables
- Preferred ISTQB or CSTE Certification
- College coursework: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech
- 6 years’ experience in QA
