Location: This role will be based in Telford, with some flexibility to work between the office and home. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process. You can read more about flexible working here.

Role Overview
As an Annuity Broker Quote Specialist, you'll be a trusted point of contact for advisers, brokers and intermediaries, providing expert support across quotations, applications, portal queries and escalations. This is a predominantly telephone-based role, where you'll build strong relationships, deliver exceptional service and proactively support advisers through every stage of the quote journey. Working closely with Customer Services and other key teams, you'll help drive positive customer outcomes and support the growth of our Individual Annuity business.
This role will be hired on a Secondment basis, training and development will be offered in role.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the trusted first point of contact for brokers and intermediaries, delivering expert support on quotes, applications and portal queries while ensuring great customer outcomes.
- Use your knowledge and judgement to assess enhanced annuity applications, helping customers access the most appropriate solutions for their circumstances.
- Drive business growth by converting quotations into completed applications, building strong relationships and working closely with underwriting colleagues to deliver a seamless experience.
- Partner with brokers, account managers and customer service teams to continuously improve how we work, reduce customer effort and identify opportunities to enhance our proposition.
- Provide clear, confident and accurate guidance, using your product expertise to resolve queries and support brokers with a wide range of customer needs.
- Champion regulatory excellence and customer fairness, ensuring every interaction meets legislative requirements, Consumer Duty expectations and our high-quality standards.
- Take ownership of customer concerns and complaints, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism while identifying opportunities to improve future experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and customer data, helping us deliver robust quality standards, insightful reporting and excellent customer service.
- Invest in your own development and share your expertise with others, keeping up to date with products, systems and industry regulations while contributing positively to the wider team.
