Join our Digital Media team and help drive revenue growth and performance for leading hospitality brands across North America (NORAM).
As a Senior Digital Performance Strategist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hotel and resort clients, leading the strategy, optimization, and performance of revenue-generating digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Paid Search, a proven track record of improving ROAS and business outcomes, and the ability to translate campaign performance into actionable recommendations for clients.
This is a highly consultative and performance-driven role focused on helping clients maximize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), increase bookings and revenue, optimize acquisition strategies, and achieve measurable business results. Success in this position requires a blend of Paid Search expertise, digital marketing strategy, performance analysis, client relationship management, and revenue-focused decision-making.
This is a hybrid position and requires working from our San José, Costa Rica office 50% of the time.
In This Role You'll
Manage and maintain a portfolio of hospitality clients across the North America (NORAM) region.
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to clients and key stakeholders.
Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, revenue goals, and performance KPIs.
Build, optimize, and manage digital advertising strategies with a strong emphasis on Google Ads and Paid Search.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance to improve ROAS, revenue, conversions, CPA, and acquisition efficiency.
Analyze campaign data and provide strategic recommendations based on business outcomes and performance trends.
Conduct recurring business reviews and performance discussions with clients.
Recommend budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, and optimization strategies to maximize advertising effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign implementation and ongoing optimization.
Ensure campaign tracking, measurement, and reporting frameworks are properly implemented.
Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to improve overall account performance.
Stay current with industry trends, Google advertising products, platform updates, and hospitality marketing best practices.
Contribute to process improvements, training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities across the team.
About the Ideal Candidate
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads, with a strong focus on Paid Search (Google Search Campaigns).
Experience working with revenue-generating campaigns where ROAS, CPA, conversions, bookings, or revenue were primary success metrics.
Experience managing enterprise-level advertising budgets with direct responsibility for campaign performance, budget allocation, pacing, and optimization decisions.
Experience managing and optimizing Facebook/Meta Ads campaigns, including audience targeting, campaign setup, budget management, performance analysis, and optimization.
Proven ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Experience presenting performance results, optimization strategies, and business recommendations to clients or stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and Paid Search best practices.
Strong consultative, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Performance Max (PMax), Demand Gen, YouTube Ads, Display Campaigns, Search Ads 360 (SA360), or other Google advertising solutions.
Experience supporting hospitality, travel, tourism, hotel, or related industry clients.
Experience working in a client-facing digital agency, media agency, advertising agency, or performance marketing environment.
