As part of Diageo's SEA marketing transformation, the Vodka & Tequila Senior Brand Manager plays a critical role in connecting category excellence with in-market execution. Working across multiple SEA markets, this role partners closely with Brand & Category Director, BU Marketing Heads and Commercial Teams to deliver brand growth, drive execution excellence and scale best practices across the region.

The role combines category stewardship, cross-market leadership and executional excellence to unlock sustainable growth for Diageo's Tequila portfolio.

About the Role

Lead the development and execution of growth plans for the vibrant Vodka & Tequila portfolio across Southeast Asia, translating consumer insights, pack-price architecture recommendations and category priorities into high-impact marketing programs that deliver business and brand performance.

Role Responsibilities

Brand Growth & Performance

• Drive growth of assigned brands through effective planning and execution.

• Monitor brand performance including NSV, ROI, Volume, market share and consumer metrics.

• Identify growth opportunities and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

• Deliver annual brand growth plans aligned to category priorities.

Campaign & Activation Excellence

• Lead end-to-end implementation of campaigns across SEA markets.

• Ensure campaigns are executed with excellence, consistency and speed.

• Adapt global assets for local relevance while preserving brand positioning.

• Manage launch plans, activations and promotional initiatives.

Consumer & Commercial Integration

• Partner with Commercial and BU Marketing teams to translate strategies into executable plans.

• Support customer activation programs and key business priorities.

• Ensure marketing activities align with commercial objectives and market dynamics.

Innovation & Portfolio Deployment

• Lead execution of innovation launches and portfolio initiatives.

• Working with the Innovation team bringing RTD portfolio to life

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful commercialization

• Support deployment of pack-price architecture initiatives and premiumisation plans.

Performance & Learning

• Track campaign effectiveness and brand performance metrics.

• Drive post-campaign evaluations and learning agendas.

• Share best practices and successful activations across SEA markets.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing effectiveness.

About You

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Brand Management or Category Management

• Proven experience managing premium FMCG, Spirits or Beer brands

• Experience leading multi-market or regional brand initiatives across Southeast Asia preferred

• Strong track record of delivering brand growth, market share gains and commercial results

• Experience managing consumer-facing campaigns across digital, experiential and trade channels

• Demonstrated success in launching innovations and driving premiumisation agendas. Expertise in having launched RTDs in the region would be a plus.

• Experience working in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and markets

• Track record of exercising stakeholder management and influence across cross-functional internal teams, external stakeholders and agency partners

• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with hands-on, resourceful and energetic outlook to bring activations to life

• Deep understanding of commercial, shopper drivers and experience of working closely with customers and customer marketing teams

• Expertise in emerging consumer culture, nightlife ecosystems and Gen Z recruitment that are crucial to the Vodka Tequila space
