In this role you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and preparation of samples in compliance with the ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
- Reporting samples preparation results on LIMS
- General housekeeping of the sample preparation area and sample storeroom
- Adhere to health, safety, environment, community, and housekeeping standards.
- Report all sample preparation equipment’s for defects.
- Comply with SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017
About you:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Computer literacy including MS Office, SAP, LIMS and MES
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Ferro-chrome Smelter laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be advantageous
- Experience in sample preparation
- Good knowledge of HSEC systems
