The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the authorisation and issue of Work Permits for Murrin Murrin Operations Processing Plant.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring permits are prepared and remain compliant with our procedures throughout the permit to work process
- Confirming that hazards and controls are clearly defined and signed off by authorised personnel
- The preparation of work permits and assigning of Isolation Lists are specific to the scope of work
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure the isolation of equipment is undertaken safely
- Ensuring JSEA’s / Work Instruction’s / Team Based Risk Assessments (TBRAs) have been received from the Permit Acceptor
- Authorising the issue of Permits and Certificates
About You
This role would suit a highly organised and customer focused professional looking to develop their career within mining. You will also have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role and environment
- Exposure to hazard identification and management (advantageous)
- An understanding of isolations, P&IDs, work permit processes, WHS requirements, legislation and risk assessment processes (advantageous)
- The ability to coordinate with multiple people across departments
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Clear understanding of integrated management systems, word processing, presentations and spread sheets
